I went to Sheen Vein and Cosmetics because they were the only one in town who offered a Fotona4D. I have friends who have had it done and they just raved about how the treatment made their skin look and feel. I wanted to try it. Currently I am about a month out from my first treatment. To sum it up, the treatment took about an hour to complete. There was a little discomfort especially during the first step. The rest of the treatment, however, was not that bad. When the treatment was done, my face was just a little red. The redness remained for about 48 hours while my skin felt like I had a little sunburn. Once the burning sensation went away, the redness did as well. I really did not notice much for about two weeks. That was when my skin started to peel as if I was getting over a sunburn. Interestingly, the skin underneath was really soft and felt really good. Dr. Sheen had mentioned prior to the treatment that what I just experienced would happen. He also said that as the collagen in the skin will continue to increase over the next month and that collagen helps to support the skin. This is why people find that their skin starts to sag as they age. So when the collagen increases, he said that some people will see their skin start to lift. Perhaps it was my imagination but I think I saw a little of this lifting, but Dr. Sheen did mention that how or when the skin will change really depended on the client’s age and level of skin damage prior to the treatment. I was really surprised by all the changes in my skin that I saw with just one treatment. I was told that additional treatments are normally required the older you are since you have lost a lot more collagen compared to someone younger.

All things considered; I thought the Fotona4D treatment really helped my skin. Would I have another treatment? Definitely. Dr. Sheen and his staff were awesome. Very friendly and very informative. 5 Stars!"
